2Vets2Moms has just launched their new Piggybank website, offering Pet Care and Advice, with an online shopping cart selling books, toys and other products to families with small pets. Check it out at www.2vets2moms.com.

Jamie Dann Launches Her New Real Estate Website With Piggybank Technology

We recently launch JamieDann.com, a website for real estate listings using "flexicontent" that includes a complete gallery, lead generation and featured listings.

Recent Addition to our Portfolio: e-Commerce Website

InformedBoater.com is a web-based supplier of single-topic videos on all aspects of boating. We designed this site for Rob to sell his videos online, and to generate leads for his services to a global market.

Jennifer and Scott:I was just reviewing how far we have come in just a few weeks. From our decision to re-do our web site to the finished product, including uploading all of the videos and training Mary and  I to manage the site has been a delightful experience. It is a long time since I have been able to say ‘delightful’ and ‘web site’ in the same sentence. Scott & Jen attended the 2009 SEA Conference at Geneva Park near Orillia. This year's theme was "Thriving in Tough Times".

It was wonderful to be with so many start-up Entrepreneurs, hearing their stories of taking the leap into self employment. We remember back to the thrilling and scary times when we took the plunge back in 1996.

It's encouraging to see that despite the doom & gloom talk about recession on the news, there are many industrious individuals taking responsibility for their own economic future. We also saw, first hand, just how energetic and supportive the SEA team is and we want to thank Cathy Greer and Gary Lyon for extending us an invitation to sponsor such a positive event.

Piggybank Technology to Build Free Websites for Small Businesses

Barrie, ON-While many business owners complain about a recession, Scott Gingrich And Piggybank Technology want to do something about it.

 "I see all the doom and gloom in today's headlines, and I wondered what I can do about it," said Gingrich, Piggybank's owner and founder.

 "We wanted to push back against that and do something positive. And, we hope other successful small businesses will reach out and do the same".

 

As part of the Piggybank Website Giveaway, every 3 months, Piggybank Technology will choose 1 business from their list of applicants, and award a fully loaded Piggybank Website to a new or start-up business in Ontario.

On January 14, 2009 Scott spent the afternoon with a group of people going through the Self Employment Assistance Program at Barrie's BERN Centre. Scott did a 1-hour presentation on web marketing followed by an interactive Question & Answer period where we looked at the websites of participants and Scott provided feedback. The questions showed the participants understand the importance of having a website that is both marketing-effective AND cost-effective. 

On January 8, 2009, I was the keynote speaker for the Barrie Chamber of Commerce's Breakfast Meeting. It was a 1/2 hour presentation on how to use web marketing to build local small business. Hands on and practical, it was a great topic to kick off a New Year with economic challenges in the airwaves.
